Supplies like baby formula, diapers, canned foods or generators are in short supply in the Ukraine. Therefore, eight people from the chapel formed a team to conduct a follow-up trip to Mukachevo to deliver needed goods that the local church will distribute to people displaced by the war.

We at the chapel believe that this trip is one of the “good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10).

However, to make this trip of faith happen, we need to meet the target of raising € 3000 by 24 August. This money will cover the costs for supplies and car fuel.

To this aim, we will have a special collection this Sunday to gather fish and bread loves, and ask Jesus to multiply it. Please consider prayerfully how much the Lord wants you to give.

Let's keep going!

Let’s keep going until August 24! Let’s raise all the funds we can to bring the grace of God to the need of this hour.

Besides what is happening on the local church level, we are also invited to support organizations that members of our church are involved with in bringing help to those suffering during the current crisis in Ukraine.

Youth for Christ

Youth for Christ Slovakia Ranch is accommodating around 75 families (100 people together). However, we are looking into possibilities how to expand the camp with Mobile homes.

The last week we I have been again helping by the border. We have received another group of 40 young mothers and their children. We are using now borrowed Van (Ford Transit). Transporting people from Ukraine and driving back with medical supply and humanitarian help.

You can support these efforts with financial contributions. Contributions can be made to the bank account of YFC Slovakia.

Operation Mobilization

OM teams in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldova and other countries bordering Ukraine are responding to the needs of those fleeing the war. In Ukraine, they are helping to provide food and transport to people as they flee westward.

They have two trailers set up at the borders in Poland to provide shelter, essential needs and rest for women with children and babies. In Moldova, they have set up a circus tent for those standing in long immigration lines, where people can rest, eat and drink something, and recharge their phones while waiting to cross over to safety.

All OM teams are also networking with local churches to provide accommodation and transportation to those without options. And the team members continue to engage in conversations with those who are hurting – offering comfort and hope.
