Dear Congregation,
As you may be aware of the recent restrictions and measures taken by the Austrian government to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, the International Chapel of Vienna desires to be in compliance with the government mandates (https://orf.at/stories/3157262/) and is endeavoring to ensure the safety of our church members.
We ask you as a congregation to pray for our church, our families, friends, and especially those who have contracted the virus here in Austria and all over the world.
We know that God not only brings healing through many interventions (modern medicine) but also that He alone is our refuge, place of safety, the One on whom we rely and who protects us from deadly diseases (Psalm 91:2-4).
Thankfully, no one in the congregation (to our knowledge) has contracted the virus but to be on the safe side, we would like to advise the following as precautionary measures as a church...
If you are not feeling well, please stay home and watch the service on the internet (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC54-goNRedI-Yctje19VNaQ/videos)
When attending services please avoid physical contact, i.e., hugs, kisses, handshakes, etc.
Please keep your hands clean (washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using hand sanitizer).
Until further notice, we will not be serving food or drinks at the services.
The well-being of all who attend our services is very important to us.
Please follow these recommendations for all ICV events in the coming weeks as we continue to entrust the Lord with the Alpha Marriage course, Life Groups, and Church services.
2 Timothy 1:7 says,
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control] (AMP)”.
Let's practice wisdom and common sense while believing God for good health and protection for the body of Christ. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at: elders@chapel.at.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,ICV Elders
